Hi I am a member of a Yahoo forum which is being swamped with offensive spam. Since the yahoo adoption of their neo url the owner has had problems barring members and in fact cannot be sure they are real members. He also cant delete as spam. I usually have no problem creating filters and blacklists ...

Hi Stan Too late! I went back to MWv6.5.3 and found the same problem:( The other thing I did was to upgrade from AVGv9 to AVGv10. I have gone back to AVGv9 and the problem has gone. I have again upgraded MWv6.5.4 and there is no problem. So the problem is caused by AVG not MW. Does anyone use MW wit...

Sorted!
The problem was I had changed the address to which restored emails should be sent, but had left the smtp as one which I can only poll from on broadband.

Oh!
mailwasher pro is listed and ticked in the exceptions for Windows Firewall but I get the same result!
Anyone have anonther suggestion? :roll:

I just remembered one of the changes I made was to not log on with an account which had Administrator's privileges. When I looked at the Firewall I didn't get (it wasn't greyed out - it wasn't there!)
Have allowed MW using an Administor account!

Problem restoring emails from recycle bin

Hi
Since I upgraded to MW6.3 and changed my security settings I have been unable to restore messages. I get a message saying that Global.. timedout possibly due to a firewall. What exception do I have to set to avoid this?
