restoring deleted emails

Mon Oct 26, 2015 11:06 pm

I love mailwasher but am having a problem with restoring deleted emails. When I try to restore it beeps and says unknown error on the event log. I then have to reset the log to get the programme to work again. Can anyone help me please?

Do the graphic illustrations at the following link help?

The Gmail SMTP enjoys a good track with the MWP restore feature and is also a free e-mail service — personally, I use Gmail for all my different accounts.

If however, you do not prefer to use the Gmail SMTP, let us know which one you are running — in which case, would like to see your SMTP setting (a screenshot would help.)

Greetings and thanks for your reply. Before opening a gmail account I'd prefer to stick with my existing programme which is Windows Live Mail. I attach the smtp details. Renewed thanks for your help.

Thanks for the screenshot — but, that is not from MailWasher, is it? :scratch

Your MailWasher screenshots should look like these.
MailWasher Pro (βeta) | Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC (22H2) | The Bat! Professional (βeta) | Windows 10 Firewall Control (βeta) | ESET Endpoint Antivirus (βeta) | nVIDIA GeForce (GTX 1060) | WebView2 Runtime (118.0.2088.61) | .NET Framework (4.8.1)

Oh, you have posted your problem at the wrong (V6) forum — the right (V7) forum is MailWasher Pro 7 : 2011/2012. :)

Please check out the instructions at the following Firetrust page:—
MailWasher Pro (βeta) | Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC (22H2) | The Bat! Professional (βeta) | Windows 10 Firewall Control (βeta) | ESET Endpoint Antivirus (βeta) | nVIDIA GeForce (GTX 1060) | WebView2 Runtime (118.0.2088.61) | .NET Framework (4.8.1)
