MW only looks at your mail server and lets you remove selected messages from the server.
Optionally MW can launch your mail program but your mail program is responsible for fetching the remaining mail from the server.
If your outlook isn't fetching your mail when you push the outlook check mail button in it then there is a problem with your outlook.
If you have MW questions it is best to post in the MW forums, either v6 or v2011 depending on which one you have. Stuff tends to just sit in these non-mw forums until someone gets bored and sees it.
