MW7.4 with WIN7 with Outlook 2013 and Yahoo email

Started a few days ago, when I click on Check Mail a message appears in the progress box at the bottom left of the window - "downloading message 3 of 6" and then it hangs. I go into email online and delete everything. MW then works with empty inbox. But when more mail is there, again "downloading message 2 of 9". The two numbers vary depending on what's in the inbasket. Other than a recent WIN7 update, there have not been any changes to my system. I am using Outlook 2013 and Yahoo does the email for bellsouth.net.

Login to your Yahoo! (web) account using your browser and change your password — don't forget to also update the new password to MWP, your e-mail client/s, handheld device/s, etc., etc.

Pro Tip:—

• You might want to try IMAP on MWP (only for your Yahoo! account/s) instead of the POP3 protocol — it's the only known way ATM, that MWP can access your Yahoo! Bulk (Spam) folder.

Under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> click Advanced >> remove the check mark to use PIPELINING when Checking Mail >> Save. That should fix this problem
