This issue has now been constant since I restarted my computer some days ago.
it seems to hang for hours at a time.
I need to press "stop" then wash mail.
Then it reverts to the same behavior again.
I have eight email accounts, six are my own domain name POP3.
One is gmail and the other is my isp.
Any help is appreciated.

- By "hang for hours" do you mean during loading or while checking/processing mail?
- What is the total number of e-mail accounts that has been set on MailWasher?
- On the server of those accounts, what is the total number of mails that are waiting to be audited?
- What is the version of your MailWasher?
- What are your hardware specifications?
- Which Operating System are you running?

The message at the bottom left of the program says "Evaluating message:2590 of 2590 Stop (in red)
From Sunday night 8pm to Monday morning the same message.
What is the total number of e-mail accounts that has been set on MailWasher?
As stated in the original message;

Disable your pipelining function and report back whether it resolved the issue.
Also, you have posted in the wrong forum — if disabling pipelining fails to resolve the issue, you might want to post at the right forum.

deramon, can you send me some logs, if you go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'stuck checking mail' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs. Also reply back here once sent.
At a guess, MailWasher is actually stuck checking one of your accounts, but giving the impression it is hung up on evaluating.

Great thanks. Does it improve at all if you disable the DNSBLs, under Settings >> Spam Tools >> Origin of Spam >> uncheck both >> restart MailWasher.

OK, glad to hear that. I'm still confused why it's causing the stall, I'll do some digging and see if I can reproduce the fault.
