Hello!
When I click the column headers to sort, it still has the email messages grouped by day. How do I remove that daily subgrouping?
Thanks for your help and info!

Re: How to sort without grouped by day?
You can enable the Grouping Bar to check whether removing the Received (or Arrived) header helps.
Once your issue is resolved, you could (disable your Grouping Bar if you wish to.)

Re: How to sort without grouped by day?
Help says this "Another way to group emails is to go to Quick Display>> and check 'Show grouping bar'."
1) I couldn't find "Quick Display", but I did find it in "Display Options", so maybe the Help file needs updating?
2) When I enable the grouping bar and then click on the received column, it still has them grouped by Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month. I'm looking for "All Dates".
Any other ideas?

You do not just click the Received (or Arrived) Header — you right-click it and then click Remove (exactly, as illustrated.)

MailWasher is probably evolving at a quicker rate than its Help section.leaning wrote:Help says this "Another way to group emails is to go to Quick Display>> and check 'Show grouping bar'."

It's not the Column but the Header on the Grouping Bar that you are looking for.leaning wrote:2) When I enable the grouping bar and then click on the received column, <snip>

Thanks!
Did it default set up like that, or was it something I accidentally clicked, because I never would have intentionally had it set up to group like that?
But thanks to your help, I was able to un-group it. Perfect!

Re: How to sort without grouped by day?
I think MailWasher is the culprit — it insists on Grouping the Received (or Arrived) Header, by default.

Re: How to sort without grouped by day?
OK, last one. It's still not working like I'd like.
What I want is "all dates" with the newest on top. So, if I get a daily e-mail from Home Depot, I can have them all next to each other with the newest on top, so I can delete the older ones below it. I can only seem to get it like this with the newest on the bottom.
Adding: It's like I can see the Grouping options, but where are the "Ascending" and "Descending" options that you normally see with this type of sorting?

Re: How to sort without grouped by day?
Difficult to suggest without seeing your personal setup — you could try clicking just once though, on the Received Column Header to get the sorting arrow exactly as illustrated below:—

Thanks!
I got it to work. I grouped by From (and then the grouping) From has an up/down arrow on the button, and then I clicked on the Received header which has it's own up/down button. Sweet! You've been great. Have a good one!
