Hotkey for add to the blacklist

Sun May 21, 2017 1:34 am

I wonder if there is or how to set a shortcut key (hotkey) for the option to add the sender's domain to the blacklist.

Also it would be important that the option to add domain was really referring to the domain and not to the subdomain, since many spammers create dozens of subdomains until exhausting the possibility of using a single domain for the sending of spam.

Thank you all ;-)

ATM, there is no hotkey to add domain/sub-domain to Blacklist.

However, this is easily (and more effectively) achieved by using filters, instead — check out the advantages of filters over the Blacklist (or Friends List.)

I can not understand how creating a filter for each domain / subdomain sender can be faster or easier than simply pressing a key to block the sender's domain from spam.

Please don't confuse yourself about the speed of creating filters with the hotkey — my exact reason for segregating your query into two separate quotes and then responding to those quotes differently. As far as the hotkey point is concerned — that feature is not present (as already mentioned.)

The comparison was drawn between filters on one side and Blacklist (or Friends List) on the other — it is a good idea to start migrating from the handicapped Blacklist (or Friends List) to the superior filters before it is too late (of course — it's all up to you.)
