I use a password programme writtem ny Agilebits called 1Password. They think that, maybe, Hideaway is preventing it working smoothly and have sent me the following request:
"Sometimes we see VPN services do odd things with the commands we send to our extension through the localhost IP address. So: Can you please exclude the localhost IP address 127.0.0.1 from rerouting in FireTrust HideAway?"
Coud you please expalin to me how I write a rule which accomplishes what they request?
Thank you.

Re: Help with a Rule
HideAway already ignores localhost traffic, so this likely won't matter. Can you describe the issue with 1Password and I'll see if I can reproduce.

Re: Help with a Rule
Thank you for responding. I invoke loggin on to a site by clickin on the Ipassword Icon in Firefox, Ipassword opens the site login, poulates the fileds correctly and then stops. I have to click on the login button to complete the cycle: this should happen automatically. The problem occurs on about 50% of my logins, the rest work perfectly.

Re: Help with a Rule
OK. It seems OK for me so far, but then I'm on a fresh setup with only 1 login stored. I take it you don't notice this behaviour with HA closed ?
To create an ignore rule to My Rules >> Add Rule >> Create New Rule >> click Advanced >> give the rule a name like 127.0.0.1 >> in the rule area click the spanner icon on the right >> set the Action to Exclude and in both IP address fields enter 127.0.0.1 >> Save Filter >> Save Rule.
Let us know if it makes any difference.

Re: Help with a Rule
Thanks. I instated the rule and, you're right, it has made no difference. I also shut down HideAway and, again, it makes no difference.
