(1) When attempting to uninstall HideAway 1.30 before installing 2.0.3, the 1.30 uninstall shortcut did not work, and uninstalling 1.30 via the Windows 8.1 32-bit Control Panel also did not work. The 2.0.3 installation seems to have proceeded normally, but now my computer has two installed versions of HideAway. How can I uninstall HideAway 1.30?

(2) When installing HideAway 2.0.3, I expected to need a license key, as was needed for 1.30. However, 2.03 seems to be running without a license key. Did I miss something?

Yep, HideAway 2.0.3 does not need a license.

I suspect that the HideAway LightWeight Filter might have survived your attempt at un-installation — check out the following figure (this is an old screenshot — I'm no longer running Hideaway 1.3.0.)
