Re: MWES with Scalix
You could try running MWES as a proxy in front of Scalix MWES Proxy (SMTP port 25) -> Scalix MTA/Relay(Port 26) -> Sendmail (Port 27) The Readme file will explain this just replace the wording for MTA with Scalix Change mwes.conf use_mta_proxy=1 Remove the sendmail milter interface. Then stop/start ...

Re: smtp authentication
Do you see any problems in sending/receiving emails? MWES is processing emails & catching SPAM? If answers to above are positive then you didn't mess up :D MWES is running as proxy in front of exchange. It won't do any thing else except filtering SPAM. For users it is transparent. They don't have to...

Re: smtp authentication
Hi,
Which MWES version you are using? Is it a proxy or conduit?
I don't see any problems if users are using SMTP Auth. MWES will allow it. Why do you need to move users to port 26?

Hi,
Which MWES version your are running? Current stable release is 2.7. If you are running conduit version you have to uninstall it first. Follow the install instructions zipped with exe file.

Re: blacklist and others not working
Hi,
Scalix is passing emails to mwes being marked as coming from localhost. MWES will not process emails coming from localhost.
I can login to box if required for assistance.

By default mwes will refuse all incoming connections at port 25. This feature is being enabled to prevent box to become "Open Relay". We are also offer...
