Re: Description: An unknown error has occured while accessing FirstAlert!

I just had the same thing. Chances are, it's at the FirstAlert! end, and will be fixed on Monday.

Sounds like this is a Firefox issue. You can contact Firefox support at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox

Re: Unknown Error

If you're still having problems, the best thing to do is send a set of logs to Firetrust support.

To do this, in MailWasher, go to Help - Send Support Logs. Add a comment, or link to this post and then send.

Re: HideAway 3.0

Try logging out and logging in again. I'm now using v3.0.1 and a redirect of Chrome to the UK appears to be working correctly.

Re: HideAway 3.0 - Installation process

Thanks. Sounds like a very roundabout way to do it. Can't we just have a normal installation and the user data control the rules and so on? And just for the record, updates appear to work as I already have v3.0.1, though it appears that you need to log off and log on again in order for the update to...

HideAway 3.0 - Installation process

I've just installed HideAway 3.0 and it has installed in AppData.

Is this correct? Does this mean that I have to do a separate install for every user?

Re: Why is MW 7 only reporting part of the marked spam to SpamCop.net?

I just tested this to be absolutely sure, sending test reports to email addresses that I control. I marked 3 emails for reporting. I set up two test reporting services, one using a Gmail account to send the report, and another using another email service to send the . The report sent using Gmail sho...

Re: Why is MW 7 only reporting part of the marked spam to SpamCop.net?

I suggest that you use a Gmail account for reporting the spam to SpamCop. You'll then be able to check the Gmail sent folder and see exactly what MailWasher is sending. Or if you don't like that idea, report the spam to yourself. Just set up a separate spam reporting service (in addition to SpamCop)...

Is this the sort of email notification that you get from SpamCop:

Re: Why is MW 7 only reporting part of the marked spam to SpamCop.net?

MailWasher combines reported emails into a single report where possible, so, for example, 3 spam emails may be sent in one report to SpamCop. SpamCop then unpacks them, and treats each spam email separately. From memory, there is a size limit that defines how many spam emails can be combined into a ...

Re: Why is MW 7 only reporting part of the marked spam to SpamCop.net?

Do you mean that the number of emails marked for reporting is larger than the number reported to SpamCop? Or do you mean that only part of each email marked for reporting is sent to SpamCop? If this is the problem, in the MailWasher Settings, go to General - Checking Mail and increase the Spam Throt...

Re: Washing Problem

It's possible that Comcast have changed they way that they are running their email system and this is what is causing the problem. If you log into the Comcast webmail you may be able to find some settings that will help. Alternatively, if you're currently accessing your account using POP3, switching...

Re: Spam Tool Settings page not scrolling 7.8.10

When you have about 14 or so spam filters set they start to run off the bottom of the screen and can't be scrolled. However by minimizing the screen to less than full screen you can make the page scroll by placing the cursor in the far right margin and using the wheel. So the problem does have that...

No. This is to do with the email count in the MailWasher notifications.
