If I unload MWP, ie, exit completely and not have it running, then try to get my messages that appear to be stuck there, will they be released?

Is there any way to get the ones that are "stuck" back into the swing of things? Have them re-evaluated? I realize I can just delete them, but there should be a way to "release" them. Again, they are all POP, were never IMAP, including in my email program.

At least one of the "blocked" messages is indeed still on the gmail server. I *always* use POP, FWIW, and did verify that all my accounts in MWP are indeed set to that. Ditto in my client. I got it to work. Turns out I had another email app that happened to use "filters.xml" as well, and to compound that, there were a bunch of "suspenders and belts" copies of both files, with fake names, of course, like filtersgood.xml or whatever. It worked!!! I set the criteria as "TO doesn't contain ." Just a simple dot, and it shows the tag I planned to give these. And of course, depending on what stage the draft was in, i.e., has a To value, there are others I can use too.
