Different yes but I actually quite like that way. It also doesn't clutter up the taskbar by not leaving an entry on there, just sitting in the background ready to be opened when needed. I never actually exit mailwasher, just let Windows shut it down when I close down the PC. Leave it as it is please!

Post from a spammer perhaps? There was a big batch of spam replies last week which thankfully were speedily deleted.

I may have the same issue. Sometimes (completely at random) when I classify good/spam it seems to set the delete column correctly but the line remains grey. Just downloaded your beta, will give it a try.

I use Pegasus Mail with MW and it works fine. In settings/washing mail select 'use other application' under email program and type "C:\PMAIL\Programs\winpm-32.exe", including the inverted commas in the box. They will remain on Mailwasher's screen until you do the next check mail from Mailwasher. Your email program has no means to refresh the Mailwasher screen, the two are totally independent.

When I did a test earlier from his demo I can confirm that the spoofed FROM was very obvious in Mailwasher and Pegasus Mail (a program not on his list). Most of his listed programs are ones I have never heard of, so maybe it is not the big issue he is making out.

7.9 works just fine and there is nothing new for me in 7.11 so I have never got round to upgrading.

I have Pegasus 4.72 on Windows 10 Home v1703 and MW 7.9 (not 7.11). The Pegasus button on the MW toolbar opens Pegasus just fine.

Mailwasher does NOT transfer messages to Outlook or anywhere else. All it does is look at what is in your inbox and then if you tell it opens your email program (Outlook). What happens next like downloading emails is done solely by Outlook which gets them directly from your ISP inbox.

And the new post icons have gone back to grey....

Thanks for the 'unread message' icon, a big improvement as I had none before - if all you did was change the colour it must have been white on white before...

Bounce worked many many years ago but not nowadays. Do a search on this forum, it is pretty pointless with today's spam and with many ISPs recognising the fake bounce messages MW generates it is unlikely the messages will ever reach the sender. The days of bounce are long gone, DON'T USE IT.

Instead of concentrating on subtle text formatting issues PLEASE address the points I made before. We need far more prominent indication of which forums and threads contain new posts. A 'contains new posts' which appears when you hover over a forum and a single right-hand arrow is simply not adequat...
