Re: Original Mailwasher 64bit version?
I am awaiting delivery of a Win7 64bit pc and would appreciate it if you can tell me if I can run my MW in 64 bit. Oh yes, it does - like all other 32-bit programs, it does run very well on a 64-bit architecture. My last post was in April as you can see above. At that time I was told it's a no go f...

Re: Original Mailwasher 64bit version?
No unfortunately MailWasher won't run natively as 64bit. There's no real gains for us to do so but considerable work, so I'm not even sure it's something that we may ever get around to doing. MailWasher can be built in 64bit with a simple flag, but the issue lies with the DLLs we use that are only ...

Original Mailwasher 64bit version?
Hi, I'm using v6.5.4 MW in my Win XP 32bit pc. I am awaiting delivery of a Win7 64bit pc and would appreciate it if you can tell me if I can run my MW in 64 bit. Thanks. I haven't checked yet, but does the new MW have a 64 bit version?

Re: Has the MAC version of MailWasher been shelved?
o I have used Mailwasher -- since 2001? -- to preview email, and use it to read mailing lists etc in the program itself and deleted them immediately. Such email never reaches my inbox. Now I may be fortunate, but the amount of actual spam I receive is close to zero anyway: my ISP and hosting servic...

Re: Has the MAC version of MailWasher been shelved?
THIS news is highly disappointing, but highly expected. The mistake, and I mean this without any malice, was that Firetrust didn't pick a cross-platform development environment when moving to an all new version of Mailwasher. That's how it seemed to me at the time. :) As I checked out these forums ...

Re: Just bought 'lifetime' subscription to MW 2011
That's right - 2011 It is significantly improved over 2010, and I'm sufficiently comfortable with it that I upgraded my subscription to Lifetime. In my particular case that's not many years, but they'll be less spamridden... I installed a new Momentus XT hybrid hard drive and Windows 7 Ultimate - s...

Re: New version of MWPro 2010?
Ever since installing MWPro 2010, it hasn't worked properly on my Vista system. It causes hangs, and strange empty windows, all together I have been really disappointed, and it seems that there are no updates being issued. I have reverted to the BRILLIANT 6.5.4! Please let me know when a tested ver...

Re: Really Really slow
On my machine (OSVersion: Microsoft Windows NT 5.1.2600>> Service Pack 3>> CPUcount: 4>> AvailableRAM: 1237) the only slow thing about this new version is startup. Where the old version would be up and running within five seconds, 2010 takes 17 seconds. After that it is really fast; my guess is, th...

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development
Just a note on the subscription concept. I have been using MW for about 8 or 9 years. In that time how many updates do you remember? If I had paid $10 a year for a subscription that would have been $80 or $90 (so far). Good deal?

Add an I Hate Cats option maybe :) Not sure if I can give link, as it contains cheap deal links, sent it to you in a PM. I think we got through to S last night in the newsletters though I'm an L and got no newsletter yet. It's going by email address, I thought it was name but was wrong on that. So ...

Re: The new MailWasher Pro FAQs
I don't believe any of us long time users had a problem paying $10 for the new MWP2010 even though we were promised years ago a lifetime of free upgrades There are. I am one who doesn't like HAVING to pay "even though we were promised years ago a lifetime of free upgrades" we shouldn't HAVE to do i...

Re: The new MailWasher Pro FAQs
I was wondering how many refunds there have been to date. Perhaps a one time price for the V2010 with an elective say $10 if you want updates and support for a year would fix that.

Re: The new MailWasher Pro FAQs
Folks find reasons to run both, doing it depends on when and why of course. For most folks not doing reporting or extensive filtering 2010 does all that is needed. Initially running both makes it easy to copy your filters and other settings across and make/check any tweaks they need to work the sam...
