Thanks, rusticdog! I appreciate the advice.

Why upgrade to 7 from 6 Pro?

Hi, Now that 7 has been around for awhile (!) and I'm assuming all the major bugs have been dealt with - are there major improvements for a strict POP3 user that would justify another lifetime license? Having been burned on "lifetime" licenses before - with the exception of Malwarebytes, which reall...

Re: 6.5.3 -> 1.0.35 (2010)

I agree. I went back to 6.5.3 after giving the "upgrade" about a month. Just not worth it. I don't mind the $10, but it's too bad they went for bloatware instead of making simple corrections to 6.5.3, like not having it jump around when you preview the full e-mail.

Re: New Mail Washer Speed

Well, I've given up and have gone back to MW 6.5.3. I'll keep MWP installed, in case the speed issue ever gets resolved, but I must say I'm pretty disappointed. It's just not useful in the current version.

Re: New Mail Washer Speed

I'm getting pretty fed up with this new version. It's slow, I see no improvements to compensate for "upgrading" - hey, were any of the designers involved in Vista? Sorry, had to say that. All I wanted was for version 6 to NOT jump around when previewing mail. Instead of that bug fix, I got this bloa...

Re: Unbalievable waste of money

I've had pretty good luck with MWP detecting spam, and what it does incorrectly is not a big deal to train. What IS completely unacceptable is the lag time when using it. I've updated it to the new patch, and while it's an improvement, it still isn't very good. I'm using XP Pro SP3 with 4 gigs of me...

Re: Previewed message jumps when downloading

Well, I guess that explains it. I'm a long time user of MWP, and this is really frustrating. I hope you guys will update soon, or at least put out a patch if it looks like it's going to be a while before the new version comes out. I've recommended MWP to just about everyone (I'm a freelance tech), a...
