Re: Important notice for MailWasher and GMail accounts
Not sure if I'm missing something but using version 6.3 I just set the server address to pop.gmail.com and port to 993 in MailWasher while for my main email client, Thunderbird, I set a couple of those accounts to 995:pop.gmail.com and one of them to 993.imap.gmail.com. That's been working fine for ...

Re: Filter suggestions
A few questions occur to me in reading through this topic: Are there plans to incorporate some number of filters as a default filter file for new users i.e. similar to what was done for the old MWP? Is it possible to run filters designed with the old MWP or are there too many differences between the...

Re: After reinstalling 6.51, buttons missing from Action column
Hmmm .... I was going to suggest configuring that via Tools >> Spam Tools >> Friends List but I see there's no Action fields. That field used to be there AFAIK.

None that I'm aware of. I'd consider changing your ISP given the poor response times.

Re: Only old messages shown!!
I would think that the key aspect to this situation is whether or not that person is using his/her own email address as the replyto. That person would have to be very dumb to use his/her own address esp. since it's dead easy to forge it. As Stan suggests it's much more advisable to collect your evid...

Hang on, isn't that saying that MWP is doing it's job? Why not just delete everything in the AOL spam folder?

Re: How to get email out of recycle bin??
Have you properly configured the restore function. If not, any msgs deleted cannot be restored ... i.e. they're gone. Check the mailwasher forums for further assistance.

Re: "Bouncing has been disabled in the options for this account"
Thanks for the reply. I've been bouncing spam without issue with MW for almost 10 years so I found your reply interesting. I thougth it would get my name off their list if they continue to try to send me mail. Na. No such luck. :( Spammers forge the return address so any bounces go to some poor joe...

Please be aware that you have to properly configure MWP for msg restoration. Follow Tools >> Options and select "Recycle Bin Options". Now set parameters under "Outgoing mail settings".

Re: facebook
First you should better understand why the Facebook notifications are being marked for deletion. Hover your mouse over the status field to find out which tool(s) is(are) producing a hit. Secondly it's rather easy to override other spam tools by placing the FB email address in your Friends List.
