Rusticdog, I forgot to mention. Your explanation was very clear. It is not often that I get as clear and precise an answer as you gave. Keep up the good work.

Re: How to set up Windows 10 Mail program tied to my Gmail account?
Sorry for the confusion. It was me, not you. When I looked at Washing Mail, it did show "Mail for Windows" with its icon. In addition, it also has a checkbox for "Use default email program icon" if I chose to use it.
Thanks very much for your help.

Re: How to set up Windows 10 Mail program tied to my Gmail account?
This is why I am confused. When i go to Settings>>General>>.....I do not get "Washing Mail". The Window10 MAIL program does not show up as a choice. In fact, if I click on Add Email Account, it gives me "Unnamed" with a blue triangle next to it with an exclamation point inside. Somehow, it is treati...

How to set up Windows 10 Mail program tied to my Gmail account?
I use Windows 10 Mail as my email client. I use MailWasher 7.9.0. I also have Gmail as my primary email program. When I set up my mailwasher after installing Windows 10, I used my Gmail email address. In the Email Account Settings window, I notice that under Accounts, it is showing the Gmail "M" ico...

New type of Spam - How to set up automatic delete?
For the first time this week, I have started to receive dozens of the same type of emails. From what I have read, this is the type that is "harvested". The email comes in as "Mail Delivery Failure" or as "Mail System Error - Returned Mail". These occur whether I have sent any emails or not. If the S...

Re: How to understand Spam ratings?
When you say "More negative is more Spam", does this mean it will capture more Spam or it can hold more Spam or that it will search for more Spam? Exactly, by making it more negative, what am I telling it to do? One more question: In Settings/Filters/Actions: If I want to increase the chance of the ...

How to understand Spam ratings?
As the negative value goes up, (i.e. -50 to -200), does the larger negative number (-200) mean that the Spam will be recognized more quickly, or what does it accomplish by making the Spam rating a larger number, either positive or negative? I could not find an answer to this in the Help section of M...

Re: How to delete email on server
Just click on the Trash Can Icon and the check mark will show. Then when you are ready click on the Wash mail Icon and MWP 2010 will delete the ones so marked from the server. I want to be able to mark this for deletion at any time that it tries to come in after the first deletion. I keep getting c...

Yes I did. It talks about being outside the range. What does this mean? Maybe I missed it, but does it mean higher or lower? and how does this affect the email?'anniebrion wrote:Have you had a look here? http://forum.firetrust.com/viewtopic.ph ... 270#p31924

Rating System
In Help/Quick Overview, it constantly refers to rating scores for the various filters that go from +1 and +200, -1 and -200, etc. However, unless I missed it, I see nothing that tells me the effect of increasing or decreasing the values. If I change the +200 to a lower value, what is the effect on t...
