Re: How to Block? [SOLVED]
Great, you win and I'm an idiot. My screenshot above is a photoshop, I got Sidewinder to go along with me on this and the original post was a puppet posting a troll not a real user with a real problem that got solved. This bug hasn't been around forever, Firetrust didn't promise to fix it a long tim...

Re: Mailwasher Updates
Doesn't help to PM me since I am just a retired old fart in Arizona, a long swim from Christchurch New Zealand and Firetrust. :-)

Re: How to Block? [SOLVED]
Just to be fair I tried it again on a system with all the other tools disabled and only one entry in the friends list. Sorry to tell you that once again the friends list tagged the e-mail as being from a friend. Note that I never said anything about classification and neither did the original poster...

You have to click the image twice (slowly) to get the scroll bars so you can see the from column.

Re: How to Block?
The friends list is easily fooled so you shouldn't trust it, remove the paypal address from your friends list and instead create a filter that looks for the full line that paypal uses on their e-mails. From contains plain text service@paypal.com <service@paypal.com> You might need to do more than on...

Re: Mail is not removed from MailWasher Pro after a Wash
Not a MW problem, the remove downloaded messages is an Outlook function. Check your setting for "Leave mail on server" and unselect that option.

Re: Connection errors after new router installed
No ideas about fixing the router issue since MW doesn't really interact with the router in any way. It is likely that your connection to the Internet is failing and any momentary connection glitch interrupts the connection with the mail server. You can fix the problems with the wash failures by turn...

Yes with the new MW, I don't think so with the old version you are using.

Re: mail isn't deleted even though flag not set
Since MW never deletes mail you haven't marked for deletion this isn't a MW issue.
It may be a glitch in Thunderbird that has resulted in some messages being left behind, you could go into MW and select delete the messages that Thunderbird is missing and see if that fixes the problem.

Re: Email classification
Filters, first and foremost since they work 100% IF you know what you are doing and test thoroughly. Learning/Bayesian (thumbs) second since the system has bugs that misidentify messages. Source of spam, not really, too low a hit rate to be worth much effort but leaving a few sources doesn't hurt. F...

Re: Malwasher Pro 2012 No Longer Reports To Spamcop
It is still aggravating that MW does not queue failed outgoing messages for a retry once the problem passes or settings are tweaked.

Re: Email Dissapears
You can verify it is not MW doing the dirty deed by checking and washing mail in MW. Then clear the MW grid and check your mail again. If the mail is still there then MW isn't the issue.

Re: Acts Like It Was Re-installed?
I keep a CPU use monitor app open, when I exit MW I wait for the CPU use to drop back to idle before exiting Windows or trying to restart MW. Try it yourself with task manager and see just how much is going on when you hit the MW exit button. The longer MW was open and the more mail you processed th...

Re: Malwasher Pro 2012 No Longer Reports To Spamcop
Submitting the MW logs is probably your best bet at this time if you can't read them yourself. That is the real logs, under help, not the short form shown in the error tab.
