Re: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

They also committed the cardinal crime of any system update, do not do it on Sunday when there is no one around to pick up the debris and respond to the flood of broken systems reported here. As far as I know, this had nothing to do with a push out of an update on Sunday (depending on time zone), b...

Re: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

I get the impatience , but , in reality, some things need time to fix. You can reduce the time it takes, and the impatience, if you test a new system properly before you unleash it on the world. The answer in that other place that you expect everyone to read assiduously shows that this is not what ...

Reinstalled earlier version. 7.12.125, and the problem is gone.
Easier said that done. The installer barfs when it sees a newer version.

Think I will wait for a fix. Mailwasher has become decreasingly useful over the years.

Re: Outlook.com account crashes in Mailwasher Pro

Look here:
  • Settings
  • Accounts
  • Pick your outlook.com account
  • IMAP
  • "Check for spam in the following folders"
Sadly, the Help File is no help on this topic.

Re: Outlook.com account crashes in Mailwasher Pro

Is this a IMAP connection? Which folders have you told MW to check?

You could limit that to see if it has any effect.

Re: How to remove "today" "yesterday" etc

It was never my intent to anger anyone over the request to know how to turn off the unwanted messages I'm seeing. In that case you need to tone down your GONE! style. I also interpreted your approach to be an accusation that Mailwasher had screwed up whereas in reality you just need to do a bit of ...

Nice.

AquaMail limits to two for the free version. You pay to get unlimited, which sounds reasonable to me.

Re: MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0

On what grounds do we compare AquaMail with Mailwasher? See above. Yes it is a fully featured mail client. It is MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0 that we are talking about. Are you asking what the features will be in this? One questiion I have is the number of accounts that it can handle. AquaMail can hand...

Re: MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0

Now, here's the dilemma. I like the sound of AquaMail, even though I am not keen on having a profusion of apps. But if MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0 is going to be even better, should I wait? Any ETA on MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0?

Re: MailWasher Mobile v2.0.0

Outlook for Android is hopeless at remembering user credentials. Ask it to check several accounts – I have several – and it is forever demanding that I re-enter a password. But do that and it says that "the account already exists". You can read some of these whines in the reviews of the Outlook app ...

Is that a fully fledged email client?

I do hope so.

The Andrdoid clients I have, including Outlook, are hopeless.

Re: Running MW with an SSD boot drive.

There is nothing special about SSDs, beyond their speed. They are much smaller physically. They weigh much less (important for mobile computers). They consume less power and generate less heat. They have no moving parts so they are less subject to damage through rough handling. No moving parts mean...
