Excellent. Thank you for all your hard work. And, yes, it does seem a LOT faster.

That's the problem with this web thing. It'll never catch on, you know.

Re: Unable to contact server

While not wishing to seem picky (ok, I'm going to be very picky), you may be "back up and running", but I still can 't get to my email on mobile. I still get the "unable to contact server" error. In fact, if anything, it's got worse as I no longer get the push notifications either. This may be a mas...

Re: Unable to contact server

I have re-setup my account and added my email details again. Still no joy. I saw one email, which is correct, but have been unable to get any more email since then. It's just sitting there with the spinner and saying "syncing mail..." As I had added two email accounts, I deleted one of them, so I on...

Re: Unable to contact server

Odd, can you also try and restart your phone. It looks like it's cached and serving up old content Closed and restarted the app, no difference, Powered the iPad off and on, no difference. Reset the iPad, no difference. Cleared the Safari cache (No idea why I did that), closed the app, turned the iP...

Unable to contact server

For the last week or so I have had an occasional message saying that MW was 'unable to contact server'. As of yesterday morning, this has become a permanent error. I receive notifications that MW has email, I open the UI and no emails are shown. I refresh the screen, it sits there for a while with t...

No valid aps-environment

Hi, Just upgraded to the 1.2 version of the mobile app on iOS. Now, then I sart Mailwasher, I get a message: No valid 'aps-environment' entitlement string found for application It goes away after a second and the app seems to work fine, so no big issue. iOS 6.1.3 on iPad 4 (if it matters). Thanks St...

Re: New Mailwasher Mysteriously DELETED from system on BSOD

Sorry to butt in here, but what version of the .Net runtimes does MWP use? We had serious problems with .Net 3.5 until we put sp1 on. It may be worth re-installing/repairing the .Net runtimes (when you know which ones MWP uses).

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development

Sabarnett-I do understand your position. I've received an answer that works for me and I'm satisfied with it. As I said, if it doesn't work out, I can always go back to the earlier version. That worked for me, too. I didn't buy the software, I bought a license to use it. Back in pre-retirement days...

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development

The message I'm getting right now is 'if you don't like it, then shove off because we don't need you". The message I'm getting is that this is what it takes to keep MWP healthy. I was concerned about this until I received an answer that satisfied me. I'd much rather pay a $10 fee instead of a $40 f...

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development

No it's a reaction of someone who has used a product for a very long time, would like to keep using it and is being prevented from doing so by a "marketing decision". Nobody as far as I can see is stopping you using your old version, that never expires! Nobody is forcing you to upgrade to the new 2...

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development

Saying that we're trying to milk customers is just trolling No it's a reaction of someone who has used a product for a very long time, would like to keep using it and is being prevented from doing so by a "marketing decision". The point is the same, if you have the faith that you profess in the pro...

Re: $10 licence - excellent idea to support product development

The expiration is the biggest point of contention, but it's up to us to prove that this is value for money, and that's our focus moving forward. Only time will tell.... All I would say is that, if you honestly believed that the new MWP will be value for money, you would not have to make the product...
