Cryptic Error A220.2

Postby rtart Sun Jan 03, 2016 6:52 am

Hi folks,

Just upgraded to Office 2016..Outlook 2016 and began getting a 'Cryptic Error A220.2' when using Check Mail in MW 6.5.4. Happily, I apparently haven't done anything wrong :D

Here's my environment: Win 7 64bit with all current SP's installed, MS Office 2016/Outlook 2016 in 32 bit version. MW 6.5.4.

I've googled the error number and searched for it here..no help.

Any suggestions?

If I recall, that's a corruption in the Bayesian files that can cause that.

In MailWasher go Help >> About >> click the link at the bottom to open the folder where MailWasher stores your data files >> go back and close MailWasher so it is not running >> then back in the folder you opened go into the Training folder >> delete the file TrainingMA.dat >> restart MailWasher.

It will rebuild this file which may take a few minutes. If the problem is still there, then follow the same steps above but delete the entire Training folder instead.

Thanks

I had the same A220 error several times this morning. So I just tried your fix, deleting the TrainingMA.dat file (well, I renamed it to TrainingMA.datOLD).
Now it has rebuilt the file and, so far, it now runs OK without this error message.
Thank you! ;=))
