Can't get rid of annoying popup

The "How to use Mailwasher" popup will not go away after unchecking "show on startup" and crashes the program if i click the "X" close button
It's the popup that happens when you first start the progam and has "To learn more, see the quick start guide."...It is very annoying and a waste of resources..
