Moved comments from here http://forum.firetrust.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1010 into a separate thread to keep things tidy.

And frankly no, I don't see how this could possibly fail :)

Jeez, and I moved the new comments section it into entirely the wrong location :) Fixed now though.

My admin skills certainly do need a speed up.

Absolutely, have added you to the beta group. So now on the forums page near the bottom you should see the beta topics with relevant info within. Any questions or problems just ask.

Yeap sure do, have loaded access for the both of you. The beta forums are near the bottom of the forum list, plus there's an introduction post in the beta topics that hopefully helps ease you into things :)

Rusticdog,

Don't know if you remember me or not, but I was testing before when the forums at Castle Cops were still active over a year ago.

Suffice it to say, I am not 100% positive I'll be able to help, as my current every use machines consist of the following:

Windows 7 x86-64 with IE 8 (native) and Fx 3.1 pre-Beta 3 (Desktop)
Windows 7 x86 with IE 8 (native) and Fx 3.1 pre-Beta 3 (Laptop)

On the desktop, though, I do have Sun's VirtualBox installed, and I can install pretty much any 32bit or 64bit OS as I choose, so in that respect I may be of some value after all.

I was briefly glancing through the forums and saw that SH is now supported on Fx 3 (but quite possibly not on 3.1 - I can always try as I make new profiles on the fly every week for testing *something*....

Finally, I assume that my old registration code still works (as in it is a lifetime registration)? I believe I won it in either a contest from Calendar of Updates or else Castle Cops....

If you're full, no worries...I'll ask some questions in the other forums and see if anyone with a setup similar to mine is actually running SH or not....

EDIT: added the following:

lol I just deleted this message because I saw the topic was in MW / MWP forum - then went to the SH forums and went to sign up - and then finally realized that it *had* led me back here...

Absolutely, I remember you :thumbsup

If I recall it was the CoU birthday give-away....or MWR....or SecurityCadets....or CCops....we do give away a lot of licenses :)
SH runs on FF3 but still crashes when going into the options, as you'll see in the Beta Forum topics (as I've loaded access for you) SiteHound is going to be rewritten from scratch, we've already started work on the server side aspects of that.

But MW Pro is the main focus right now, feel free to take a look, and we are always happy to get more testers on board. Your licenses should be sweet, if you have any problems let me know through PM or email

Right, then, I'll start looking around at both MWP and SH (as I use Tb for many accounts, some straight POP access and some through the webmail extension (namely my HoTMaiL and Yahoo) I might be able to stat saving myself some spam downloads...

Hotmail has free POP and IMAP now too, so if you prefer you shouldn't need to run from an FF extension
