changing operating systems problems

Got a new computer. Got a new set of problems. Gee. Anyway, I went from Win XP to Windows 7 and Mailwasher hasn't quite got the hang of it yet, or so it seems. I was wondering if MW 6.5.4 is compatible with Win 7?

I receive a number of various 'application error' messages such as <Exception EAccess violation in module Mailwasher.exe at 0039EC4B…>.

Yesterday I received one that says 'This program requires a missing windows component'. Probably flash.ocx, but i don't know what that is.

When I designate 'friends' or blacklist they don't reappear when I reboot.

Does anyone know if I should just give up on Mailwasher (don't want to whatsoever) or can these problems be overcome? If so, how is the big question? Thanks.
