You've posted in the wrong forum. You may also want to post with more details on the system on which you're facing the issue at either of the following forums as per your flavor of MWP:-

The New MailWasher Pro 2011 / 12

Troubleshooting and Help for MailWasher 5 and 6
MWP 7 disabled from the cloud (ßeta) | Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) | The Bat! Professional (ßeta) | Windows Firewall Control (WFC) | NOD32 EAV (ßeta) | Intel® HD Graphics 3000 | Internet Connection Speed (D=50 Mb/s U=3.5 Mb/s) | .NET Framework (4.7.1)

Moved into the right forum :)

In MailWasher if you go Help >> About >> open the link to where MailWasher stores the data files >> then go back and close MailWasher so it's not running >> back in the folder you just opened, have a look for the two files being mentioned, blacklist.txt and filters.txt >> right click on the file select Properties >> check that the ReadOnly flag isn't checked, if it is, remove the check mark and click OK.

Alternately, you could just delete these files and let MailWasher recreate them on startup, though you are going to lose your blacklist, friends list, and any custom filters you had in place.

Let us know if the first step doesn't help.
