False Flag Filter

I often receive fake emails where my own domain name is used as the domain name in the senders address.
This allows the mail through as my own domain is on my friends list.
I tried to create a filter to pick this up on the "return path", but "return path" is not a listed field in the MW filters.
Any suggestions would be welcome?

It's not such a great idea to use something so generic (as the domain name) to filter your senders - it leaves your doors wide open for SPAM (specifically by spoofing) to sneak right into your Inbox. :no

Right . . . . . . . . this is just one of the many other reasons why most of us have migrated to the higher-end iteration of MWP - V7, the big brother which has a host of options within the filters & rules; in addition to the return path.

You'll need to drop the filtering-by-domain idea and start creating (CaseSensitive RegEx) filters for Senders on an individual basis - life with the V6 (that you're using) is becoming acutely impossible to keep up, to the degree and rate at which SPAM and SPAMmers are evolving. :(

What do you think is the best way to prevent this?
