Not responding

Using windows 7 Prof with SP1 and exec Mailwasher 6.5.4 I am observing the following problem since several months. After login to Windows the first loading of Mailwasher will yield “not responding” and I have to cancel. A subsequent loading may yield the same outcome or the pgm works fine. An occasional third loading will always be fine.
Anyone else encountering this behavior?

Nope, no such problem, here - on 8.1, 8 and 7.

You may try the following troubleshooting measure:--
  • Ensure MWP is not running (not even as a background process)
  • Navigate to C:\Users\YourProfileName\AppData\Roaming\
  • Rename the MailWasherPro folder to MailWasherPro_BackUp
  • Reboot your Windows 7
  • Run MWP to check whether the issue is present
Please note the above is merely a troubleshooting measure to find the cause of your issue - all your configurations shall be safely stored at your MailWasherPro_BackUp folder.

Thank you for your suggestion. There were innumerous mwLog.date entries indicating a problem. I copied what I needed into the newly created directory and all seems to be fine.
