Not able to send new emails

When I sign on to Mail Washer, my emails come in but I'm not able to send out any new emails or respond to existing one. I keep getting error messages saying I'm not connected. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I use Comcast for my emails. Thanks!

Hi there


What email program do you use to send your emails ?
It sounds like you might need to check the SMTP settings in your email program, the proper settings to use are here http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-su ... ity-email/ down the bottom of that page too are some links for help on specific email programs.

Great. Thanks. I'll give it a try. I thought it might have something to do with the SMTP settings as well but it's been working fine for years until a couple of days ago. I didn't change anything so thought there might be another reason.
