1 x Account suddenly stopped working 4 days ago

Hi.

Approximately 4 days ago I had a problem where a particular email address (out of about 20 addresses) has ceased connecting to the server.

I have deleted the account and added it twice to start with a clean sheet. The account works fine in the email client (eMClient) however NOT in MailWasher.

I have checked and double checked passwords and, servers ports (everything) but cannot establish where my problem might lie

Please help.

You may want to change the password for the affected account to an alphanumeric one (without any special characters) just to test whether it works.

If that does not work, you can post comprehensive details about the affected account — alternatively, screenshots of the Incoming Mail section and also the Advanced account options section would be fine, too.

You may also have include a upper case alpha character. I just switched to broadband but with the same ISP. They insisted I had to include an Upper case alpha in my email password - I just changed the whole password to comply.

Just happened to spot your signature which makes mention of the V7, not the V6 — in case your issue pertains to the V7, the appropriate forum to post the same, is here. ;)
