Hi everyone,
Using Windows 7 64 bit with Mailwasher Pro 6.1

Several times over the past few months, when I scroll down in the preview window, the email suddenly disappears from the list. I receive quite a lot of emails from academics and it's quite annoying when one of them needs my help and I can't reply to him or her because the email was "automatically" deleted without any input from myself, especially when the email is not marked as delete, blacklist, bounce or Friend nor does it fulfil with any of my spam rules.

It just happened again. I looked in the following files to see whether I could at least see the name and email address of the sender but it wasn't in seenEmail.txt or Spamlog.txt
I did find at least the email address and the subject in mwLog.20170709 so I have to write to the sender and ask him to resend it.

But why does this only happen when I scroll down in the preview window?

Can you try to reproduce the issue with the latest 6.5.4 — the 6.1 is inordinately old.

I installed 6.5.4 and it did it again. I had asked the person whose email was deleted yesterday to resend it, I scrolled down it and boom, it's disappeared...

1. Did you check for those missing messages in the MailWasher Recycle Bin?
2. Did you check whether your e-mail client has auto-downloaded them?

Yes, it/they wasn't/weren't there

It did not auto-download them and my Mailwasher is not set to automatically download anything to my Thunderbird.

If those missing messages were not present in the MailWasher Recycle Bin, it means that MailWasher is not the one that has been deleting those messages — you have one or more other devices pulling-off those mails from the server.

When I used Mailwasher today, the email was back in the normal list again ! When I scrolled down, it disappeared. It'll probably be back again tomorrow ^^
