Ah, this was a tiny to fix to address a "List index out of bounds" error that was occurring.

Is there any way to sign up for a mailing list to be notified when a new version is released? I have been running 6.1 and had no idea that 6.2 was even out. MW should have a "check for updates" option on the Help menu item, as many other programs have.

Check out your profile at www.firetrust/com/user
Once logged in there you can see what newsletter subscriptions are available. We did send a newsletter for the 6.2 release, so if you are signed up, possibly it was filtered out as spam.....we get that a lot :)

I just downloaded 6.2 again and got 6.2.3. What's going on?

That is strange, it was still in beta when I went to bed...

I downloaded directly from the main MW page and got it. Any idea what's new?

I must admit that I am disappointed that the bug where some links that have quotes around them are not accepted. I reported that a long time ago and was told that it would be fixed.

I think someone may have oopsed, it only came to the beta testers last night.

Hopefully someone from Firetrust will be along once the day starts in New Zealand with more info.

Alright! Is it still in beta or what?
DSLReports has some posters stating that they have the one that is supposedly in 'beta'...as the 'newest' version.
Somebody had better correct them.
Castlecops is still down or whatever, so I can't get any info there.
You should also have some kind of link here where we can download whenever the updates are available...I'm tired of hunting for these things!
Also, because castlecops is being flaky...will the data on that Forum be transferred to here? It would be nice to have all that info in one website.

Not sure what information you'd expect to get out of the castlecops on maiwasher? You have seen the notices posted there that due to the ongoing problems there would be no more official firetrust presence there?

By "you" are you referring to the other mailwasher users, that is all that is here right now? Did you mean to direct that to the firetrust employees? They will show up at some point, no idea of what time it is in New Zealand right now. They do have e-mails, PMs and forum alerts all waiting for them to arrive at work. It won't be a fun morning there.

If you post links to the DSLReports posts someone might be more likely follow up on them.

There is the very handy announcements topic at the top of the forums, hopefully the firetrust folks will begin using it for announcements allowing folks to get email notifications from the forum for new announcements.

I don't believe the stuff from castlecops will be moved over here, as users ask questions knowledge will accumulate here. the castlecops stuff should still be available from the Google cache if castlecops is down or taking 500 seconds per page to respond. for the time being the castlecops wiki is still up and running and any user that has had any interest has the ability to add to it. Ike would be the person to PM here if you want more info on the castlecops wiki.

All the above is my personal opinion, not an official firetrust position.
