Mail Washer error msg?

I am trying to "reply to" an email in Mailwasher on a new installation. But I am getting this error:
MailWasher Pro could not launch email client. there might be no email client setup to handle mailto URLS
Can someone help please. So far everything else works fine.

Check your Windows settings to make sure you have a default mail client set there, MW asks Windows to launch the mail program and if Windows hasn't been told what to do you get the error you are seeing.

But, MW will launch my Outlook Express as my default email program if I ask it to in other ways. Just not for a reply to directly from MW. This is what I don't understand.
Also, in windows I do have Outlook Express set as my default email program.

Different things, the launch after processing uses a different method than the quick reply.
This might explain it better, I'm not a windows user.

stan: My settings as they describe it in that section you sent me too are fine also as they recommend.

I'm surprised seeing this when Outlook Express is the default program.
Close MailWasher so it's not running, then try running this Registry patch, answer Yes to import into the Windows Registry, and try a Quick Reply again.

This uses an older method of performing the quick reply, which hopefully solves the problem.
