Mailwasher 6.5.4 has been working fine on my wifes computer for a number of years. No changes have been made to any settings however yesterday it has not been able to log onto the email (gmail) account to check mail. I am able to log onto Gmail through the Gmail web interface using the same log on username & password as I have put into mailwasher. I have tried re-entering the username & password in mailwasher but it is still unable to log on. Any ideas what has happened and how to fix this?

Is this still an issue ? I would check first that Less Secure Apps is enabled https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps
