Gmail errors

Gmail has been working fine until a few days ago. Now I get constant streams of errors but it does still work intermittently. What can I do?

It says Failed to log in

How intermittent does it work ?
Also be good to know what version MailWasher you are using. You can check under Help >> About.
Also how long between each automatic checks in MailWasher, and are you using POP or IMAP in MailWasher to check the account ?

IMAP, Mailwasher 7 I posted in wrong forum
If i go to GMAIL and refresh the errors clear and then recur

OK, can you try sending me some logs.
Go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'as per forum' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent, so I can be sure they arrived all OK.

OK great. The logs have this error when MailWasher tries to check the GMail account.
11-08-2020 07:57:51.832 Info C: LOGIN *******
11-08-2020 07:57:52.886 Info IMAP SERVER LOGIN: *NO [WEBALERT] Web login required.
Check here that Less Secure Apps is enabled

Or alternatively create an App Specific Password to use in MailWasher. Your regular GMail password is the same still, the App Password is for use in programs like MailWasher.
