It is possible to read an attachment only if it is inline (with the body of the message) - it it not possible to read attachments in MIME standard format.

Needless to say, one can read any attachment through one's e-mail client or even through one's web server.

How does one SAVE attachments from within Mailwasher? I'm a new user (today) but I've already got used to using the pgm as my mail reader. I'd rather NOT fire up the e-mail client if I can avoid it.

One has to use one's e-mail client to save attachment/s - or, use the webmail for the same.

Thanks for the quick reply. And here's my vote for adding the ability to save attachments from within Mailwasher in the near future...

MWP is a program - quite unique in what it accomplishes and the way in which it achieves it.

The mentioned feature would only relegate MWP to just another e-mail client - would cause MWP to lose out on security, speed & convenience. :frown

In the meantineI found a solution (perhaps mentioned earlier):
Emails with attachment are sent to Outlook with following parameters: Internet E-mail settings -> Advanced -> Delivery -> Remove from server after 7 days.
When I receive an email with an attachment in MWP, I process the copy of the email in Outlook
