I have thousands of emails that I marked as spam over the years and which are saved in a folder marked "Spam.". Now that I have MW Pro, is it possible to import those emails into a blacklist?
If not, does anyone know a program that will extract the email addresses from them so that I can import that list?
Thanks for reading this.

Re: Importing spam folder?
Here's one way that would probably work:
1. Set up a new email account that you can access using IMAP. Or if you have an existing account that is suitable (see the next steps), just use that.
2. Add the account to an email client like Thunderbird.
3. Using the email client, set up a "spam collection" folder in the email account.
4. Again in your email client, copy all the spam emails into the "spam collection" folder.
5. Set up the email account in MailWasher (using IMAP to access it), and get MailWasher to check the "spam collection" folder as well as the inbox on that account. You can then process all the spam.
Loading thousands of emails into the email account is going to take a while, so I'd start by copying just a few of the spam emails and checking that the process works. Once you know if works, you can load larger numbers.

Re: Importing spam folder?
Thank you. Before I got this response, I exported the emails and used a spreadsheet to extract all the email addresses. I trie dto import those, but I suppose ~73,000 was a "bit" much for MW and I had to give that up or maybe import a thousand at a time. Don't know. I uninstalled it as it added too many steps to getting my email and was removing trusted senders. I'll just keep deleting spam as I go through my emails.
