Changes at the foot of the Private Messaging section:—
  • Themed the 2 Option Boxes.
  • Stripped-off elements which I never use.
  • Reduced some inequitable gaps.
  • Gained vertical real estate.

Yeah, it looks like you're right about the Preview Pane being the culprit. :thumbsup :thumbsup :facepalm :devil
Have also widened the Preview Panel to match my extra-wide Posting Area as per tweak # 1 and tweak # 2.

Provided the "metro" look HAS TO BE, then the "After" is better than the "Before". :facepalm :thumbsup

Outside of this theme, have never come across a Board in my lifetime where the Avatar was on the right side — perhaps you can point me to one. :scratch

Spend the vast majority of my "board time" on this forum so can't rightly think of any exceptions to it. Thus the reason I prefer RHS Avatars. :dunno :devil :devil

At this point in time, the Present Board over-exceeds the Previous Board in almost all aspects, at least on my systems.

On a unrelated note, while glancing at the following screenshot — the color on the following 2 tiny, dark little icons are (surprisingly) the ones that strike me as the most prominent. :think

Despite being small, the incorrect coloring of those 2 icons distracts the eye:—
  • The color of those Read Messages icons are dark when they should be light
  • The color of the Active Menu is light when it should be dark
  • The color of the Active Tab is light when it should be dark
  • Header font is Regular when it should be Bold.
Shall work on the PM section when time permits. :think
