[Bugs + Suggestions]: "The NEW Board Upgrade"

Notice several differences (anomalies vs bugs - you decide) RE: PasteBin as follows:

1) Calls me a "Guest" so not sure if I'll end up having to create an account myself;
2) .css filename is different. Will that cause/create a problem in the long run???
3) PasteBin is nagging me about using Ad-Block (Pro) and wanting me to buy a Pro account;
4) If I click the "paste" button, the display switches over to a file list but didn't see clearly what/where I was in the file/folder structure. Used the back button to get back to the code window display.

Whether or not any of this will make any diff top you and your needs are beyond my pay grade at the moment (since I'm only playing debugger). You decide if any of it is important to your needs.

Here's the SC.

1) No need to register for an account unless you want to.

2) The change in name of the CSS file does not affect in any way.

3) No need to buy anything — I'll disclose the blocking-codes to pimp the PasteBin site, too.

4) You just need to scroll down to the very bottom and copy the codes from the box reproduced below:—

Only reason (I'm currently aware of anyway) that I'd have for an account would be to trade back-n-forth with you for some reason so unless you can provide a compelling reason, don't think this is necessary. Send me a PM if you want to discuss further.

Well then, in that case let's just keep the filename as it currently is "Firetrust*******.css" instead of confusing the issue by switching off to something else. Besides, I'm used to the original and it makes sense too!

Again, only reason I'll be accessing PasteBin (that I know of currently anyway) is for .css file updates for FireTrust thus no need for pimping.

Yep unfortunately, that's a bug inherent with this new Board (at the PM section) — related to the one which rusticdog was referring to.

OK, well then that's another one on his plate (maybe the same bug and maybe just a related one, who knows but he'll figure it out ) then instead of yours. Time for another LIIT.

TF, just ran across a bug when using CSS. When it is switched on I lose the 'Quick Links' as I am scrolling on a page of posts and have to go to the top of the page to find it. With CSS switched off it will appear at the bottom or when I am scrolling up and down in its own panel. If you want SCs I can provide. Hope it makes sense to you. Running FF 48.0

I can at least partially confirm Pierre's observation but the behavior is slightly different for me.

GT ON:
"Quick Links" & Entire Row -

• STAYS @ the top of the screen @ ALMOST All times (scroll down, stationary, top, bottom, etc.);
• Goes MISSING when Scrolling UP; and
• Goes MISSING @ first instance of upward movement.

UPDATE: "Quick Links" is flaky as hell. Sometimes it works as above and sometimes not.

• Scrolls DOWN w/ the User;
• Goes MISSING while Scrolling UP; and
• Goes MISSING @ bottom (@ first instant UP scrolling has occurred);

Did you send my update to MediaFire or PasteBin??? I can't tell from the file time stamps.

If it was MediaFire, it doesn't look like the Quick Links or the Preview problems are fixed.

Still doesn't look right. Still has a Dark Green Footer on the POST Preview. Once "Posted" the Footer is Light Green.

Also found another problem ...

In the PM Screen, with the Mark/UnMark check boxes, the "Mark" Icon is messed up. Problem is most definitely NEW. See SC.

This time around the Footer looks "as Advertised". Thanks.

But the PM Inbox Cleanup B=Problem has Risen from the Dead. I'm packin' it in for the night. Will check fix in the AM.

Using uBlock Origin?

uBlock Origin?????? Say what???? Musta missed that day of class.

This new Board depends upon Remote WebFonts to be permitted in order to be able to render certain types of images — assumed you might be running uBlock Origin which possesses this capability to audit Remote WebFonts.

This issue is on your side — check your security systems.
