OK, I've now also incorporated a great many of TrustFires changes. TrustFire, I've sent you back the CSS indicating what I did not include.

As always, suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the 'unread message' icon, a big improvement as I had none before - if all you did was change the colour it must have been white on white before...

It was an icon and colour change. For whatever stupid reason, the default was using the same icon and colour for both.

Nice! :D

Now, I can purge my system of those codes — so many of them, in fact. :thumbsup

I agree. AFAICT it serves no "real" useful purpose. :scratch Would also be good if the "Active Topics" link were removed in the process.

It's fixed, mate — I see that you set z-index to auto (to fix it, I had set mine to 1 — you, sure seem to be enjoying it.) :thumbsup

The New Board Software seems to be a little quirky. Unlike the Old Software Version, I keep getting multiple NEW Post notices for the same Thread. The quirky part is that it seems to only be happening for the: "[Bugs + Suggestions]: "The NEW Board Upgrade"" (i.e. THIS THREAD!) :scratch :crazy

The proof is that I was sound asleep when BOTH these notices were sent out (see SC) so I couldn't have visited between receiving them!! :wtf :scratch :devil

Again, the old board software didn't do this so whether it's just this thread or whether it's the board software itself doesn't matter. It's still not normal behavior. :scratch :scratch :devil

Most of the color changes you made (per TF's suggestions) look good :thumbsup but there's one that doesn't. :nono See below ...

You can hardly see the GREEN (for the Beta Tester Group) at all; and the GRAY for the Bots doesn't work well either. The User Names need to stand out better (brighter).

That color has not been touched, at all — the (now) darker Charcoal background is causing that effect.

What is a matter of concern (on your screenshot) from my POV, is that none of your text is being rendered, in bold.

Well, the BOLD might help the situation but I'm not yet convinced that simply changing the text attribute to Bold will be sufficient to fix the whole problem. To me it looks as if EITHER:
  • The Darker Gray needs to change to something OTHER THAN Gray (to increase the CONTRAST); or
  • ALL the Text colors need to change to add more CONTRAST between the Font Color and the Background Color.
But then it's never been a secret that I'm no fan of the Gray Theme. AFAIC Black is a better theme color than Gray. Gray should be more of an theme accent color instead of a theme primary color, but that's JM2c since it's not my boat.

As mentioned, the bold attribute has not been changed — it is already present (it always was.)
