I can't read my emails. HELP!

I have two problems. First, I can't read my emails after installing MailWasher. I use CompuServe and can read them there before opening MailWasher, but it has all the spam, too. One program I subscribe to says, "If you are seeing this message your e-mail program may not be compatible with HTML." I don't know what to do.

Secondly, MailWasher deleted all my saved emails (300+). I guess after unchecking "delete" and marking a sender as safe then clicking on the "learn" button, it doesn't really learn, it just deletes. The "Restore Email" button is faded and doesn't work. I suppose that's so that I'll have to pay for the Pro edition. Good trick. Damn. I'm afraid that if I uninstall it, I'll lose all my deleted emails. I can still see them, I just can't read them.
