Clear downloaded mail

I have set up a second email account ( now have 2 accounts on Mailwasher). When washing the mail, the mail for the first account is removed from the list, but not for the second account. Why? I now must return to Mailwasher and delete each individual downloaded email which came in for the 2nd account.

You posted this in the forum dedicated to web server problems so you may not get many answers since most folks don't look here. The MW forums (v5-6 or 2010) or the general would be better places to ask.
The problem you are seeing is that you have your mail program set to leave messages on the server, change that setting in the mail program to match the one for the other account and all should be working once you do one last account cleanup to get the stuff the mail program has left behind.
