Filters

Thu May 09, 2024 1:57 am

My apologies, I'm sure this question has been covered somewhere but, I was unable to find it. When setting up a filter can you add more than one word to a line? Such as (example), as, the, Jim, Bob, cops? OR, can only one word be in one line? Should I use "AND", "OR", etc. between words?

Thanks...Dave

Hi Dave,
Yes, that is no problem, if the filter is a plain text filter, MWPro catches the exact wording of whatever you write in there, so you'd need one word/phrase per filter rule.

However, if you want MWpro to catch a bunch of words, instead of plain text, select regex from the last box:

2024-05-09_075550.jpg (20.57 KiB) Viewed 6212 times

Then you can place a pipe, eg: | between each word so MWPro will search for each word by itself, eg:
1.jpg
1.jpg (18.77 KiB) Viewed 6212 times

Regex filtering is pretty specialized but works really well once you get your head around it..... this page is pretty good from these forums:

Cheers!

When setting up a filter, you can add multiple words to a single line. You can list the words to filter separated by commas or spaces on the same line. For example:

as, the, Jim, Bob, cops

When you add these words to the filter, the model will try to avoid using or make suggestions related to those words in its answers.
