Chg default mail program

I am using MS Mail for my incoming mail and would like to change this to Outlook. How can this be accomplished. I have Outlook set up to be the default mail program but Mailwasher still puts the msgs in MS Mail. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

Please advise of O/S and which version of Mailwasher you are running. Unable to give you an answer without that info.

I have a similar problem . Having just installed ms office 2010 I would like to use outlook 2010 as my default mail programme. I am using mailwasher 2010 but am unable to find any way of changing the default mail programme within mailwasher.
I am running win7 - 64 bit and was using Win Live mail so mailwahser is currently sending all mail to the programme

Follow this link and you should pick up Outlook 2010. A bit cumbersome but that is the way I did it. There is a screen shot of it somewhere but it is near midnight here. I can dig it out tomorrow and repost it for you. Please post back with results. TU.

Never mind - went back and worked my way through the various boxeses etc. Found it in general settings and successfully changed the mail programme pointer
