Some sites not reachable

Mon May 23, 2011 5:55 pm

Some sites not reachable, they time out before connecting. These are not porn. warez or subscription sites. Running XP Pro, I also have another computer running Vista Business that is doing the same. My primary browser is FireFox 4.

I have been all over the official Windows sites looking for help w/o gaining much information.

Any suggestions?

Some sites are made to capture your login details if clicked on.
Thats why sometimes you may find a message that your account was compromised after visiting does sites

In the end they will use your account to send emails to your friends

I'd suggest looking up the Windows ping and traceroute (tracert?) commands, they will tell you more about why you can't get to the sites.
I am not a Firetrust employee just a MW user.

Can you link those sites, here - maybe we'll be able to have a better cross-reference.
