Have you gone to the spamcop.net page and seen if your messages are arriving?

What has bitten me in the past is that my ISP has done something stupid that caused my messages to spamcop to be deleted at their servers or rejected by the server.

You can check the rejected issue by turning on loggint (help - about) and restoring a message. Check the socketlog for the detailed SMTP session information. If the message is shown as being accepted then you can forward the socketlog to your ISP and ask them why the message was not delivered.

My solution for dealing with a stupid ISP was to move my reporting SMTP server to the free one offered by Gmail. took about five minutes (instructions are here in the forums) versus several hours on the phone with no results from my ISP.

Thanks for your reply!

Been to the spamcop.net page and seen my messages are not arriving.

I tried to follow the rest but did not truly understand it all. I did find "socketlog1 etc." through loggint (help - about) but could not find any reference to emails sent to "submit.*****************@spam.spamcop.net". Had I found one I could not see any method of restoring it.

If that is your real spamcop address you just published it for the world to see and it will soon be harvested by spambots that visit this and other websites, you might want to go back and fix that.

If you have a bunch of socketlogs it is hard to find the correct one,
delete all of them,
make sure the logging box is ticked,
close the help window,
resport one message and you should have just one socketlog.

If you run frequent automatic mail checks you'll want to turn them off to keep from getting a bunch of logs from the checking. The other option is to dig through all the logs to find the correct one which is a pain.

Don't forget to turn off logging when you are done and cleanup the extra logs.

Did what you said! & found appropriate socketlog.
It is meaningless to me, but does appear to have been sent, I have checked spamcop and it is not there.
I have attached the socketlog.

That was accepted by your ISP's mail servers, send them a copy of it and ask what happened to your message. Likely they have a poorly configured outgoing spam filter that needs to be updated to allow sending of spammy messages to the spamcop.net servers.

If they can't or won't fix it consider using the Google Gmail SMTP server, it is easy enough to set up and use.

My bated breath was rewarded with my email request for the reason for my inability to report to Spamcop being fobbed off with “nufink to do with us guv”. I sent a copy of the socket log and demanded a better explanation. I was promised a phone call from their “technical team”. When the call came he said “nufink to do with us guv”. :puking
Since transferring Spamcop reporting to Gmail, I am able to continue as before and continue to use my subscription.

About as useful a response as I got from my Cox Cable provider, "Yes we did accept it, no idea where it got lost, sorry, bye now."
