I have a problem with MailWasher Pro version 7.12.188 and updating the program. [Lifetime license.]

When I click on Help -> Check for Updates..., I receive an error message: "Access is denied."
I have reviewed similar post dated Dec 2018 for Ver: 7.11.5. I followed same steps but still have “access denied” for updates.
I have also uninstalled MWP and reinstalled with importing my settings. Still getting access denied msg.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, sounds like MW is not being allowed access to the updates folder for some reason.... please click, Settings>>General>>Updates and click Browse.

Select your C: Drive and create a new folder named MWinstall (or whatever name you like) and click OK.

Click Save and then try checking for updates again under Help>>Check for updates...?
