I think the setting for the e-mail program to use is on the tools menu, option selection. If the list doesn't work look to the right a bit and you'll see a "Specify" button to manually add one in.

Under tools there I check options go to Options and there is nowhere to specify anything there is nothing there regarding the default email program anywhere. I have looked everywhere and there isn't a place to set the mail program. I also uninstalled and re-installed the software and the same thing happens, I am dumbfounded.
