Using W7. MW 6.5.4 and Outlook 2007 are both open.

Right now a message came into Outlook and it bypassed MW. Why is this? In my previous computer with XP, nothing came into Outlook unless I clicked F9 in Outlook. The whole idea of MW is that email downloads into MW and only when we tell it, it downloads into Outlook.

How to fix this??

Check your Outlook settings. It is possibly set to receive when emails arrive. Click on 'SEND /RECEIVE' >'SEND/RECEIVE SETTINGS' and disable 'SCHEDULED SEND /RECEIVE'. These are my settings for Outlook 2003.
