[PLEASE NOTE: I posted this on another site I'm on, I've read a lot on the pros and cons of those file transfer cables and programs, some say they're great, some say they don't work, well here's my experience.

The only minor problem (so far, just did it 12/17/08) was a few small Mailwasher settings did not transfer....see the other forum for that. This is just FYI out there.]

Since I read to the point of overkill, it was ~50/50 opinions if this BELKIN Easy Transfer Cable for Vista worked.....well try FANTASTIC!!!

All my favorites, files, pics, music, you name it from my old R32 XP to my new R500 Vista.

List $49.99, WMart $36....even saw it on sale through Lenovo $19.19.
