Long story short ... when I install the software for my Belkin F5D7050 wireless adapter, it generates a very dodgy-looking registry entry (see uploaded attachment). There is no elektra.exe on my hard disk anywhere, and I can't find more than a few references to elektra.exe using Google. Of those, the few that are in English seem to imply a malware connection. Certainly, all the other App Paths registry entries point to the app nominated by the key; this is the only one that looks dodgy. So, while I'm trying to get some sense out of Belkin, anyone have any clue what this registry key is about?

Re: elektra.exe?
None, but agree it doesn't look pleasant.
I'd be inclined to grab a copy of MalwareBytes AntiMalware http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_ ... d5756.html
Should that not prove useful, folks over at places like http://malwareremoval.com/ can provide much better advice when detailed logs are posted from HiJackThis, they can spot anything that might look like an infection and give you full removal instructions.
